I am very much interested in: 1) the possibility of SL becoming a platform for business communications, and 2) how existing 1st Life businesses are making use of SL. A good example of what interests me is the Cisco campus in SL. Visitors can learn about various networking technologies, tour the Cisco Connected Home, or attend a virtual conference.

I’m sure there are other businesses using SL in a similar fashion. I just need to do some more exploring…at least until the book comes out!

The others I like are the future and the greenies.

Go-Karts, race tracks, drift games, car dealerships, drive-in theater, and more. It is a vibrant community and the place to meet other car enthusiasts.

The number one brand in Second Life holds its own for a reason. The BigPond eleven islands are rich in design, have a race-track, almost permanently popular bars and nightclubs as well as a subtle brand presence which does not infringe on a well-designed virtual world.

Fine fantasy sailboats and canoes and market. Lots of free rides and activities in this beautiful location - check the Freehouse for drinks and music, wander up hill and down dale to your heart’s content, finding waterfalls, flowers, sheep or nice views along the way. Take your friends and hold a tourney in the Yard. Check the information post on the dock for rules and suggestions.

Romance Ice Skating, Proposal & Roller Skating

Prim Hearts Amusement Park

Prim Hearts island is dedicated to a wonderful amusement park you must visit.. take a group of friends for some fun! Heaps of free rides and vehicles to play with.. Nakama

Nakama is a wonderful sim devoted to Japanese Anime, in distinct sections: Kawaii Ku is devoted to cutesy anime, Ayashii Ku to future dystopian style anime, Tonari Ku (neighbor district) to slice-of-life style anime and Hokenjidai Ku (feudal district) is devoted to anime set in feudal Japan. Well worth exploring.

Weather Channel - but not for the beginner. You have to have basic SL skills down and can figure out how to do things w/o good directions (like the avatar skiing or surfing)
