UNC Talk today
The UNC talk went so well today. We had over 60 people in the room in RL and 80+ in SL. Audio was streamed in, Larry Taylor did a great job displaying my Powerpoint, while Mark “drove” my avatar so I could talk to the room. UNC will be posting video of the talk soon. I’ll add a link here when it’s up. Meanwhile, if you want to check out the PowerPoint, it’s loaded up here.

Thank you for a great presentation from one of the 80+ in SL! Your time and effort in helping other educators realize the potential of Second Life isn’t going unnoticed.
This is the first time I’ve attended a presentation occuring both in RL and SL. Oddly enough, I felt almost intimidated by the context of a RL audience and the voice, which led me to take a passive role during the Q & A session. I’m not sure if this is just the new context or some type of connection I’ve made with how to associate myself within the SL confines. Just another thing for me to begin exploring that you’ve stirred in me, indirectly and directly.
Once again, great presentation and keep up the great work.
Wishing you continued success,
