I certainly believe it will happen. Remember also when we saw commentary around the grid during the 'Copybot scandal' where we heard people say 'if you use or are _suspected_ of using Copybot, you will be BANNED'. I think that it will be interesting to watch what happens when voice actually hits the grid. I use skype now to talk to my friends in world and you are right when using voice you do forget to move your avatar or talk to other people in the room. But the voice does add something to the connection that you establish with a person but you lose something in that since you know what the person sounds like and there is no mystery anymore.
